XXIX Winter Youth Scientific School “Future-oriented trends in Physicochemical Biology and Biotechnology"

The Educational & Scientific Centre at the M.M. Shemyakin – Yu.A. Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences invites students and young scientists (under 35 years of age) to participate in XXIX Winter Youth Scientific School “Future-oriented trends in Physicochemical Biology and Biotechnology”.

The Program of the School will include oral reports and poster presentations on priority trends in Physicochemical Biology and Biotechnology (Annex 1). For oral reports will be accepted only those papers out of all submitted, which will be chosen by the Program Committee. Postgraduates of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, making oral reports at the School, will be exempted from reporting at the nearest interim assessment.

 An electronic version of the Application Form (Annex 2) to participate in the School, singed by a scientific supervisor and sealed, in PDF format, and an Abstract (thesis) (Annex 3) for a scientific paper, in DOCX format, shall be sent to the Organizing Committee via east@ibch.ru, with an e-mail subject line as “XXIX Youth School”, prior to November 15, 2016. In the Application Form one should indicate the scientific field (in accordance with Annex 1) the submitted scientific paper is related to. Printed versions of the above documents shall not be submitted to the Organizing Committee. Abstracts and posters will be published exactly as submitted. The School Proceedings are indexed by RISC. While registering, a copy of the School Proceedings will be given to each participant of the School presented an oral report or a poster.

Poster Requirements are provided in Annex 4. Posters shall be placed on stands on the first day of the School prior to 10.00 am and shall be left on stands until the end of the School. Authors are required to be present at their poster stands during the Poster Session.

No registration fee is charged for participation in the School. The working language of the School is Russian.
